Medios Federales launches six monetization solutions for major publishers

The company expands its offering with products that make the most of editorial content, transform articles into video inventory, and improve the performance of ad spaces. The solutions integrate into each publisher's infrastructure and combine new revenue opportunities with content-driven experiences.

Medios Federales announces the launch of six monetization solutions tailored for major digital publishers. This new suite is aimed at media outlets with established advertising operations looking to grow their revenue through tools that complement their existing infrastructure.

The proposal allows publishers to better capitalize on the assets they already produce: articles, videos published on social media, mobile audiences, and specialized content. Each product introduces new advertising opportunities and can be implemented based on the technical and editorial characteristics of the site.

  1. Super Tag: multiple formats in a single integration
Super Tag enables running various high-impact advertising formats, such as sticky bottom ads, interstitials, and in-article placements. Its goal is to expand monetization opportunities through simplified implementation.
It is activated via Google Tag Manager by adding the code snippets provided by Medios Federales to the site and updating the ads.txt file to identify authorized advertising vendors.
The illustrative benchmark for this solution is USD 0.95 per thousand impressions.

  2. Rich media to expand AMP monetization
The AMP solution incorporates dynamic and interactive ad formats into the publisher's mobile pages. It includes alternatives such as floating ads, sticky bottom banners, and high-impact formats that broaden the commercial potential of this environment.
Its implementation involves embedding the ad components into the HTML of the site's AMP version and updating the corresponding ads.txt file.
The illustrative reference CPM is USD 0.95.

  3. Social video: giving audiovisual content a new life
The social video player allows publishers to integrate the content they create for their social media and YouTube channels directly into the site. This way, an asset produced for social distribution can be incorporated into the portal's editorial experience and turned into a new monetization opportunity.
The player is installed through the publisher's ad server or directly into the site's HTML, linking to their own audiovisual content. The integration also requires updating the ads.txt file.
This solution allows expanding video inventory by leveraging existing production, with an illustrative CPM of USD 0.38.

  4. Editorial video: transforming articles into audiovisual inventory
This product converts the publisher's articles into audiovisual assets that can be distributed via a player integrated into the site. Written journalistic production thus fuels a new source of content and video ad inventory.
To implement it, the publisher provides its RSS feed of articles, and the player is embedded via the ad server, alongside the ads.txt update. The player can accompany reading within the article or be displayed in a floating placement.
The illustrative reference CPM is USD 0.50.

  5. Display: optimizing traditional inventory utilization
The display offering enables monetizing traditional ad spaces and remnant inventory, focusing on advertiser quality, improving CPMs, and increasing the fill rate.
It integrates through the publisher's ad server by adding the code provided by Medios Federales into selected placements. It supports standard formats, such as 300 × 250 pixel banners, within articles or below the fold.
Illustrative CPMs range from USD 0.30 to USD 0.80, depending on the implementation method.

  6. A financial widget combining information and monetization
The sixth product is a widget displaying currency exchange rates, indices, and financial assets. Its purpose is to enrich business and finance sections with useful information for readers while adding a new revenue opportunity.
Its deployment is coordinated with the publisher's technical team to define placement and tailor the integration to the site. The tool allows incorporating financial information into spaces where it is relevant to the audience and editorial content.

With this launch, Medios Federales broadens its offering for large publishers with products that leverage in-house production and diversify revenue streams. The proposition combines technology, content, and advertising demand with an implementation tailored to the needs of each publisher.
The mentioned CPMs are purely illustrative and correspond to successful implementation cases. These values vary depending on the country and the type of implementation carried out by each publisher, and do not constitute a performance guarantee.
